Hopefully by now you are aware that OSHA has started requiring the electronic filing of OSHA 300A logs. Covered establishments (check here to determine whether or not this applies to you) were required to electronically submit information from their 2017 OSHA 300A log by July 1, 2018 through a portal on the OSHA website. If you missed the July 1 deadline you can still file the information, although it will be flagged “late” by OSHA.
OSHA has also announced recently that they are going to focus some of their inspections on establishments that have not yet filed their 300A logs electronically. So, even if you get the information filed late, it may be worthwhile to do so. View the OSHA announcement here.
