Over the past decade, the IMA has provided more than $250,000 to help pay tuition and fees for students learning manufacturing skills.  We need your help to continue this work.  Your tax deductible contribution of $500, $5,000 or more will help us attract even more students to the great careers that await them.

The IMA Education Foundation is ending the year with an unparalleled performance record.  In 2019, the Foundation achieved:

  • Passage of the Registered Apprentice Employer Tax Credit that can mean a state tax break of up to $5,000 for each Registered Apprentice every year;
  • Passing the 100 mark in the number of Registered Apprentices employed by manufacturers statewide;
  • Helping six other states replicate our international award winning ICATT Apprenticeship Program (Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Nebraska, Georgia);
  • Doubling the number of Manufacturing Month events from 122 in 2018 to 241 in 2019; and,

More than 14,000 Illinois students enrolled in manufacturing classes in secondary and post-secondary schools.

If you’re looking for opportunities to make charitable contributions before the end of 2019, please consider a generous contribution to the IMA Education Foundation.

The IMA Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable entity. Contributions made to the IMA Education Foundation are Tax Deductible.
