In order to help you navigate the next phase of restoring our economy, the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association in partnership with FTI Consulting, created the IMA Safety and Reopening Guide. This guide is a comprehensive document with information from state and federal agencies, as well as best practices from other states and industry-leading IMA members. Every manufacturing operation is unique and a “one-size-fits-all” approach does not work for all manufacturers; however, this guide will help you determine how best to proceed moving forward in a safe manner.
This guide does not represent legal, regulatory, or medical advice. Rather, it provides guidance to help your business operate safely and efficiently under the new paradigm. There is guidance on topics such as personal protection, social distancing, health screenings, disinfection and cleaning policies, and communication advice for interacting with customers, suppliers, and communities.
In conjunction with this written guide, the IMA is hosting a webinar at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20. The IMA and FTI Consulting will present highlights from the guide and provide an opportunity for you to ask questions of our staff and FTI’s experts.
