Manufacturers Political Action Committee

The Manufacturers Political Action Committee (MPAC) is the IMA’s political action committee, pooling contributions from IMA members to support pro-manufacturing candidates and allies in the Illinois General Assembly. MPAC directly supports campaigns for State Representative and State Senator across Illinois, helping elect lawmakers who understand the importance of manufacturing, fight job-killing policies, and champion policies that strengthen Illinois manufacturers and the jobs they create.

Over the years, MPAC has made a critical difference in Illinois elections, helping shape not only the makeup of the Illinois General Assembly, but also the issues debated on the campaign trail and ultimately acted upon in Springfield. During the 2025–2026 General Assembly alone, lawmakers introduced more than 10,000 bills and resolutions, many with a direct or potential impact on Illinois manufacturers. From tax policy and workers’ compensation to workplace regulations, environmental mandates, and BIPA reform, the decisions made in Springfield have real consequences for manufacturers, their employees, and Illinois’ economy.

That is why we must elect strong, pro-business and pro-growth candidates from both sides of the political aisle who understand manufacturing and will approach these critical issues with a business-forward mindset. Supporting MPAC gives manufacturers a stronger voice in the political process and helps elect candidates who will stand up for our industry, our jobs, and our future. Help strengthen manufacturing’s voice in Springfield by making a contribution to MPAC today!
