Prior to joining EXIM Bank directly, Simpson held positions as a private broker for EXIM Bank for 14 years, as well as Finance positions at SunTrust Bank, and Top Services. In recognition for her contributions to international trade, Simpson has been recognized with awards from the U.S. Department of Commerce, the World Trade Center, the Foreign Credit Insurance Association, and EXIM Bank.

Paul Ferreira, President of Export Tax Management (ETM), started the firm in 2008 after decades of working in international tax. He saw that there was a need in the export community for an expert in international tax advisory focusing on Interest Charge-Domestic International Sales Corporation (IC-DISC) services. Soon Export Tax Management was born.
