The National Association of Manufacturers’ (NAM) leadership in advancing workforce solutions hit another major milestone, with the fifth-annual STEP (Science, Technology, Engineering and Production) Ahead Awards gala on April 20th in Washington, D.C. In front of a sellout crowd, the NAM’s Manufacturing Institute honored 130 exceptional women in recognition of their professional leadership and dedication to expanding opportunities for women in manufacturing. The support for the STEP Ahead Awards has grown exponentially each year, demonstrating manufacturers’ commitment to opening the doors of opportunity to women by promoting the outstanding careers available in our industry.
